Known for her love of constructing shapes, Perrys unique layering techniques combined with her ability to sculpt and rework pieces have not only created a distinct trademark but a growing body of work where fashion meets art.

Ayumi has had the privilege to work with some of the top talent in the fashion industry ranging from supermodels like IMAN, Helena Christensen, Taylor Hill, DEBRA SHAW, and Daphne Groeneveld. Her celebrity clientele include Emmy Award Winner Quinta Brunson, Zachary Quinto, Grammy Award Winners Kali Uchis, Jojo and Samara Joy. Tony Award Winner Maleah Joi Moon, Lachlan Watson, Aquaria and Tanerélle.  Her work currently graces the pages of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, V Magazine, Lofficiel, Wonderland, New Yorker, and Washington Post to name a few.

Outside of styling and creative directing, Ayumi further explores her passion in photography, design, music and film. In 2020 she executive produced, styled and starred in a short film, “See Us In The Wildfire” (nominated 2021 best short at Philadelphia Film Festival and displayed at Columbia University Art and Art Education Exhibition) exploring Asian American identity through fashion and art during the height of Asian Hate, one of her proudest moments to date.
